More than Luck Cultivating a Resilient Mindset

My Book, More than Luck: Cultivating a Resilient Mindset: Navigating Life and Adversity, provides a practical, research-informed framework to navigate the many pathways life takes us on with strength, clarity, and purpose to enhance our resilience.
I wrote this book to help more people understand why some struggle in the face of adversity. This also helps us understand why others adapt and often thrive despite the odds.
Drawing on the lived experiences of those in extreme adversity, including those from conflict zones, displaced persons, and refugee camps, I consolidate key characteristics of highly resilient individuals.
Resilience is not about luck or personality, but rather a set of learnable skills. These are intentional practices that can help you and others enhance your ability to cope.
My book outlines seven characteristics of people with high levels of resilience. Each invites you to reflect, assess and refine your present situation to cultivate a stronger sense of resilience.
This book blends trauma-informed insight, mindset development, emotional intelligence, and resilience research to offer hope, inspiration, and actionable strategies to help you cultivate a resilient mindset in your personal and professional life.
This book is my offering to those whose suffering I have witnessed and to the many more who struggle with life.

Gratitude for Your Support
I am so grateful for your interest in my work and potential purchase. My book is an offering to those whose suffering I have witnessed and to the many more who struggle to navigate the many pathways of life.
It is about reaching out to remind people that hope exists, that change is possible, that resilience can be cultivated, and that, in the midst of adversity, there is a path forward.
It is my hope that this book can provide hope, inspiration, and a catalyst for growth. It is my contribution, my desire, not to sit helplessly, but to do something, to leave the world a better place than I found it.
My goal this year is to sell 1000 books, but this is not about numbers, profit or recognition. It is about reaching out to remind people that hope exists, that change is possible, that resilience can be cultivated, and that, in the midst of adversity, there is a path forward.
